Edible Cookie Dough
Edible (& SAFE) cookie dough that will take you only 5 minutes. It’s delicious and the perfect summer cold treat!
You can use this edible cookie dough for anything you like (ice cream, toppings or just for fun).
Prep Time:10 minutes
Cook Time :5 minutes
Total Time:15 minutes
- 1 cup unsalted butter (room temperature)
- 1 brown sugar
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla or vanilla paste
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/4 cup flour (baked)
- 1/2 cup of chocolate chip of choice (I used: mini semi-sweet chocolate chip, ruby chocolate chip & butterscotch chip)
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350F (176C)
& in a flat pan, cook your flour for about 5 minutes and let it cool completely before adding it In. This is the best way to kill any bacteria that the flour may have.
In a bowl add your butter + light brown sugar + sugar + vanilla and cream (mix) until light in color and fluffy. I like to use a whisk and a spatula.
Add your salt & flour (make sure it's completely cooled) and mix in using a spatula. This is where you will get that dough like consistency.
Add chocolate chips of your choice and fold it until combined.
Scoop out your dough and enjoy however you like! If you're not eating right away, make sure yo keep it in the fridge (which will make it hard since there's butter in the mix).
and also note that if you are going to serve the cookie dough after it was refrigerated, let it sit out for about 20/ 30 minutes so it's easy to eat!
